As a highly skilled CAD draftsman my number one aim is to provide a professional and personalised CAD drawing service to all my clients. I pride myself on producing top quality CAD drawings no matter the source, be it scanned drawings, hand drawn sketches or existing drawing mark-ups. I ensure all drawings are produced to the client's exact company standards and the latest CAD drafting guidelines, making all work consistent and easy to understand, navigate and update.
I produce all drawings using AutoCAD and constantly update my knowledge to ensure all drawings are created as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Proposed and existing building elevations, floor plans and location maps. Stripping out guidelines and installation drawings for new fixtures, fittings, finishes, materials, flooring and ceilings.
Distribution board schematics, control panel diagrams and symbol schedules. Installation, alteration and removal drawings for all electrical services including: lighting, power, alarm systems, access controls and solar panelling.
Installation, alteration and removal drawings for all mechanical services including: heating, ventilation, natural gas, water, waste, rain water harvesting and refrigeration.
Creating 3D scale models of electrical and mechanical components/objects and 3D building plans, either from scratch or from existing 2D drawings.
Existing and proposed site plans, building elevations and land topography drawings, all drawn to exact planning application requirements as necessary for planning approval.
Creating dynamic blocks with attributes and adjustment parameters and storing them as symbols to allow elements to be easily reused and updated as necessary.
Using annotation scales to allow swift and automatic scaling of text and objects and using tables, dimensions and multi-leaders to display relevant associated information.
Creating 3D solids, surfaces and meshes and combining them into 3D objects. Assigning materials, lighting and camera positions and using viewports to produce 2D views of the 3D environments.
Creating custom templates to minimise drawing setup and reuse common standards. Using title block templates to provide consistent styling between client's drawings.
Embedding images, maps, pdfs and other assets to integrate them within the drawing, or adding them as external references to be issued alongside.
Utilising layers to keep drawings organised, allow easy object isolation and make all drawings easy to update and modify in future revisions.
